There are way more than 25 Fourth of July events in Florida. There are hundreds of public fireworks displays and thousands of parties thrown by cities and businesses. These 27 July 4th celebrations, however, offer some of our favorite things – live music, food, community, and fireworks.

1. Red Hot & Boom, Altamonte Springs

If you’re looking for a fun and free way to celebrate the 4th of July in Central Florida, check out Red Hot & Boom in Altamonte Springs. This event has been going on for 28 years and is one of the biggest and best in the state.

Red Hot & Boom takes place at Crane’s Roost Park, which has a 37-acre lake, a mile of walkways, and lots of parking, making it the ideal place for a great 4th of July celebration. Enjoy live music, a kids play area, and food vendors around the lake. The fireworks show at the end of the night lasts for 30 minutes and features 13,000 fireworks synchronized to a live performance by the Orlando Concert Band.

2. July 4th Celebration, Apopka

Another free and fun 4th of July event is the July 4th Celebration in Apopka at the Apopka Amphitheater. This event has been a tradition for many years, and it’s one of the best in the area.

Enjoy a free concert followed by a spectacular fireworks show will light up the sky over the Amphitheater. Held from 6pm to 9pm, other activities include food trucks, face painting, and a climbing tower.

3. Red, White, and Blue with a Waterfront View, Boynton Beach

Red, White, and Blue with a Waterfront View in Boynton Beach is a free family-friendly event which has been a tradition in the area for many years. The event takes place at Intracoastal Park which provides amazing waterfront views.

The fireworks display is one of the largest in Palm Beach and is synchronized to patriotic music. Before the fireworks, entertainment includes live music, face painting, and crafts. There will also be at least nine food vendors on-site.

4. Clearwater Celebrates America, Clearwater

One of the best ways to celebrate the Fourth of July in Florida is at Clearwater Celebrates America, a free event at the newly-renovated and upgraded Coachman Park. The park has been transformed into a state-of-the-art waterfront venue with a new amphitheater, water park, and promenade.

Independence Day starts family friendly activities throughout the park, along with buskers and food trucks. Live music in the evening includes the Baycare Sound Symphony and Alto Moon. The day comes to a close with the one of the largest fireworks displays in the Tampa Bay area. Following the fireworks, stick around for an immersive silent disco party to keep the celebration going.

5. Clermont 4th of July Red, White and Boom!, Clermont

Celebrate with a day full of Americana-type activities in Clermont at this Fourth of July event in Florida. Red, White, and Boom! takes place at Waterfront Park on the shores of Lake Minneola, a 1900-acre lake.

The free event features all the activities one would expect from an Independence Day celebration, such as live music, food vendors, and kids’ activities. The day ends with a fireworks display over the lake.

Clermont Red White and Boom

6. 4th of July Celebration, Delray Beach

The 4th of July Celebration in Delray Beach has taken place for over 50 years and draws 80,000 people to this quaint village. The event starts at 5pm with the solemn 60’ flag raising ceremony, accompanied by an honor guard and the singing of the National Anthem. 

The celebration continues with something for everyone – contests, food trucks and vendors, children’s activities and games, non-stop entertainment, and so much more! The spectacular Zambelli Fireworks starts promptly at 9:00pm.

7. Hometown USA, Dunedin

Dunedin, Florida is one of the most popular small towns in Florida, featured most recently in Southern Living magazine as one of the best small towns in the Southeast. Hometown USA is Dunedin’s Independence Day celebration.

Always held on July 3rd at TD Ballpark, the town’s baseball stadium, in 2025 the event features a screening of the movie Little Rascals, live music, and fireworks. Unrelated to this event but still fun, there will be a golf cart parade starting at 5 PM and ending across the street from the ballpark at the VFW.

8. Fourth of July Spectacular, Fort Lauderdale

One of the best 4th of July celebrations in Florida is the Fourth of July Spectacular in Fort Lauderdale. This annual event features live music as well as a full day of festivities starting at noon.

The patriotic atmosphere at Las Olas Oceanside Park beckons a hot dog and apple pie eating contests, fun games, and Fort Lauderdale’s beautiful beach. A fireworks show at 8:45 p.m. will light up the sky over the ocean.

9. Star Spangled Bonita, Fort Myers

Celebrate the Fourth of July in Bonita Springs with the annual Star-Spangled Bonita event at Riverside Park. This family-friendly event starts with a parade along Old 41, hosted by the Bonita Springs Professional Firefighters Local 3444.

13. Live Oak Freedom Festival, Live Oak

The 4th of July Freedom Festival in Live Oak is a free family-friendly celebration of Independence Day in the downtown area. The festival features live entertainment, bounce houses, food and craft booths, and a hot dog eating contest for first responders. The festivities start at 4:00 pm at Millennium Park and end with a fireworks display around 9:00 pm.

14. America’s Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park, Miami

America’s Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park is a free event that celebrates the Fourth of July in downtown Miami, Florida. This celebration takes place at Bayfront Park, 32 acre park in the heart of Downtown Miami overlooking Biscayne Bay.

15. Fire on the Fourth Festival, Miami Beach

Fire on the Fourth is a festival that celebrates America’s independence and, in 2025, its 249th birthday. The festival takes place at North Beach in Miami Beach. It features a full day of entertainment, including a Family Zone, food trucks, an outdoor roller disco, circus performers, live music, and a magic show.

Of course, the highlight of the festival is the fireworks and drone show which starts at 9 p.m. and lights up the sky over the ocean. The spectacular show can be seen all along the beach and draws visitors from around the area.

Naples Fireworks

16. Fourth of July Celebration, Naples

In September 2022, Hurricane Ian pummeled Naples and Fort Myers. One of the worst hurricanes to ever hit Florida, it caused over $100 billion in damage, and recovery efforts are still ongoing.

Due to the recovery efforts, Naples has decided to postpone their Fourth of July fireworks. Concerns over public safety forced this decision.

17. Freedom Festival, North Port

The City of North Port’s annual Freedom Festival will kick-off at 5 p.m. on July 4, 2025, at CoolToday Park. This family-friendly signature event will include fun activities, great vendors, plenty of food options, and of course, fireworks.

The event kicks off with live music followed by opening ceremonies of the festival then more live music. Throughout the event, the Patriotic Play Zone will be open for families and kids as will the food and arts/crafts vendors. At 9 pm, everything closes to focus on the fireworks shows.

18. American Pride 4th of July, Orange Park

In Orange Park a retirement community named Moosehaven sits on the banks of the iconic St. Johns River. It’s an unlikely place for the largest fireworks show in the county, and yet, that’s exactly what happens every year at American Pride 4th of July, hosted by Moosehaven and the Town of Orange Park.

The festival features live music by Bold City Classic, a local band that plays classic rock and country hits, and welcomes food trucks with a variety of cuisines and treats. The highlight, of course, is the fireworks show which lights up the river at dusk.

19. Fourth of July Celebration at Avalon Park, Orlando

The Fourth of July Celebration celebrates America’s birthday and its freedom. Held in Avalon Park, a community near Orlando, this event takes place at Founder’s Square on the edge of a scenic lake. The festival features a variety of attractions and activities for all ages, such as a wet/dry bounce park for kids and adults, community performances by local artists and groups, an apple pie bake-off with cash prizes, and a bike parade around the lake.

20. Fireworks at the Fountain, Orlando

Fireworks at the Fountain in Orlando is a July 4th celebration which takes place at Lake Eola Park. The 46th annual event draws thousands of people to enjoy live music, food, and fun activities. The highlight of the event is a spectacular fireworks show that starts at 9:15 p.m. and is synchronized with a live patriotic performance by the Orlando Concert Band.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Longboat Key, the 22nd Annual 4th of July Freedom Fest takes place in the morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, leaving you plenty of time to head to another event in the afternoon or evening. The highlight is the parade and Most Patriotic Float contest. There will also be games, food, a butterfly release, and lots of other family-friendly activities.
