Travel Bucket List
You have a travel bucket list, right? I’ve only ever really had one in my head. And every time I read about a place, it gets added to the list. The truth is, I’d love to just travel full time and see the entire world. The reality is…very different.
While we’re quarantined away, banned from traveling too much, told to shelter-at-home, I put together my ultimate travel list, my personal travel bucket of the places I want to see and things I want to do. This list is in no way representative of a general bucket list. You won’t find the traditional places on here – no Paris or Santorini or Bali or Rome. I’m not interested in seeing the typical tourist places, mostly.
Florida Bucket List

Florida is one of the most popular tourist and vacation destinations in the United States. Typically visitors come for the theme parks or the beaches, but if you’ve read this blog for any period of time, you know there’s so much more to see and do in Florida. And I’m passionate about that “other” Florida!

Final Thoughts on my Travel Bucket List
I’m not sure I’ll make it to even half of these places or have a chance to experience even half the experiences. But step 1 in getting a goal done is to write down. So I encourage you, if you haven’t made a written travel bucket list, to do so. If you haven’t created a vision board (the next thing I’m going to do) to see your travel goals daily, do so. When the world is open again, go out and see it.

I also have many of the places you mention on my travel bucket list. From the places on your list, I’ve been to Florida and Croatia. I really do reccommend not only Plitvice but a round trip around Croatia. Awesome places to visit and people are very welcoming.
A road trip around Croatia sounds perfect! I think that’s really the best way to see a country.
Great blog post litrally getting me excited to travel and plan a holiday sooner than i expected haha think I will start with Malta!!
The Dry Tortugas are still on my Key West bucket list as well! I think you need to amend your list though. I didn’t see Australia on there at all!
Once upon a time, it was on my list. While I’m in New Zealand, it would make sense to spend some time in Australia.
I am with you on seeing the non tourist spots. I have Holi Festival on my list, ever since we did a Holi powder photo shoot!!
That’s a pretty epic list of places to go. I think sometime this week I’m going to sit down and at least outline my USA bucket list of places. Start small but dream big!
Have fun creating your list!
I have a vision board and it helps me keep focused on what’s important in my life. I haven’t made a travel bucket list because sometimes I feel like if I do, I’ll just be disappointed for not hitting those places. I just go with the flow & travel to beautiful places I want to visit. You have an awesome list!
Thanks, Cynthia! I didn’t make a travel bucket list for a long time for the same reason.
